This year's winter trip was to Nice and Monaco, well Nice mostly. The trip was short, about 4 days and 3 nights and the group consisted of myself, Ude, Lala, Anne [Lala's sis], Anis [Anne's friend] and Ijan [lala&ude's housemate]. The four of us (minus Anne and Anis) from Cardiff boarded the coach from Cardiff at 1.55am to London Gatwick Airport. The flight was scheduled for 8.25am, and we checked in with relatively little hassle. Although I did have to repacked all the liquid stuffs as the new rule for liquids in hand luggage required the liquids container not to be more than 100ml and placed in a clear resealable plastic bag. And I was quite amazed too when we were asked to removed our shoes during security check at the departure gate. The process was quite long and tedious and by the time all of us finally managed to pass through, we had no time for breakfast! :-S
We arrived in Nice Airport at about 10.45am (+1 hr time difference). There we purchased the all day bus ticket (cost= 4 Euro) and promptly took a bus (bus no. 23) to Villa Saint Exupery, which is situated close to Saint Maurice Square. From there we called the Villa and were picked up by one of the employee there. After a bit of rest and a bit of light lunch, we set off to Nice-Ville, which is Nice town centre.
